Icon Composer

Icon Composer is a tool for those who want to reduce the time they spend creating high quality icons from existing images. Icons can be used on any device, Apple or otherwise. Use them to make your own file or folder icons, or for your own apps. Unlike other apps that just resize an image, Icon Composer uniquely imports single or multiple files, provides basic editing features, and composites the resulting images into one canvas. It then resizes the composite to whatever is required by the target OS. Acceptable input file formats include JPEG, PNG, TIFF and PDF, along with any other image format recognised by Apple. Editing facilities for each separate image include: ‣ Scaling ‣ Positioning within the canvas ‣ Cropping rectangles ‣ Cutting rectangles ‣ Add text of any font, size and colour ‣ Add border (square, circle, rounded square) will fill colour options ‣ Adjusting RGB ‣ Adjusting transparency (alpha) ‣ Apply bump filter ‣ Apply blur filter ‣ Apply twirl filter ‣ Apply rotation and flipping ‣ Apply false colour ‣ Apply shadow filter ‣ Composing images within the canvas Finally, it outputs a folder of icons to the dimension you specify.
